Euro Lottery - 20th January 2006
Update: 21 Jan 2006: Well I won !! I was only £84,999,992.6 short of the jackpot, but I won.
At least I got the cost of my ticket back.
So its now an estimated £100,000,000 next week. That is bordering on the 'gross' amount, but I wouldn't turn it down.
I'd like to think that this will be the last post you shall ever read that I make from the UK. Hopefully, my next post will be from my personal Island in the Carribean on my laptop whilst I sit under a palm tree drinking a nice iced white rum, watching the kids play in the surf on 'MY beach'.
But seeing as the odds of winning are something like 1 in 76 million, there is more chance of me becoming the next Pope. Oh well, we can live and dream of winning it I suppose.
The prize fund was at £85,000,000 when I last looked but I'd be happy with a fraction of that.
