Karla Homolka

I read about Karla Homolka several months back on Carolyn's site and ended up reading about the case via a link I found on her site.
It was a very disturbing case in which she basically supported her husband in his rape and murder of several women.
She was convicted and given a reduced sentence of 12 years because she agreed to give evidence against her husband.
Her release has sparked a wave of contraversy in Canada especially as she is now fighting to keep her identity and location secret.
I was surprised to see that it even made the National BBC News a few days ago, which prompted me to write about it here. It was quite an indepth report about the case.
It appears we are not the only country whose penal system is in dissary and need of bringing into the 21st century.

» Homolka In The News Again from The Crazy Rants of Samantha Burns
This does not sound like a sane person to me. According to Canadian Expatriates, Karla Homolka is starving for more media attention, despite her original worry of being in the public eye and drawing too much attention to herself. It... [Read More]

It was a very disturbing case in which she basically supported her husband in his rape and murder of several women. I just wanted to point out that Karla didn't support her husband in killing several women, she killed them herself. No woman died at the hands of Paul Bernardo, Karla was the killer. Paul is a sick individual, but in my eyes Karla is much worse. She is a force beyond evil. It is her fault that Leslie, Kristen and Tammy are dead. I just wanted to clear that up.

Paul was raping girls before he married Karla. And its clear that he was very abusive towards her. Karla needed Paul, she needed someone to want her. And unfortunity she did all that to keep him. But dont put all the blame on her. The whole thing with Tammy was an accident, they didnt mean to kill her but Paul now knew he could use this against Karla (cause she was on the video tape). After seeing how easy it was with Tammy, Paul did it again. And you all know he blackmaled her into helping him.
