Providing a link between the Head of Traffic Technology and the Congestion Charging consultancy team, you'll help select, test, commission, manage and maintain camera sites. You'll undertake site surveys, prepare schedules of work for contractors engaged in the installation and maintenance of enforcement infrastructure and services and monitor work standards.

A qualified engineer, you'll need a good knowledge of electrical installation practices and IEE 16th edition wiring regulations. Your experience of using database systems for operational and monitoring purposes should be supported by an understanding of highways infrastructure and asset management and the New Roads & Street Works Act. A driving licence will be essential.

This position is suitable for an experienced engineer in a fast paced product development group which produces a wide range of embedded computing equipment for the telecommunications, medical, industrial control industry. Responsible for various phases of product development from concept to release such as system integration, product specs and documentation, new product introduction, design, and test engineering. Will be part of a cross functional team and work with technical individuals, other client groups, and 3rd party vendors

HND/Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or related discipline required. Specific technical skills are listed below that are required or desired:

a. Experience with MIB development using an SNMP agent/IPMI environment (required).

The role will include undertaking a range of combat system studies including: assessment of design change and enhancement e.g. functional assessment, subsystem interfaces, performance issues etc; production of specifications e.g. requirements documentation, acceptance plans etc; undertaking reviews of 3rd party documentation; analysis of test and trials data.
