Responsibilities:

· Working as Test Equipment Support Engineer directly supporting the Manufacturing Cells, with specific responsibility for maintaining all equipments within Operations, including various test ATE and EVT equipments, also encompassing maintenance and monitoring of CO2 level and equipment.

· To introduce initiatives and efficiency improvements to ATE & EVT equipment, improving the Quality, Profitability & Delivery performance to the business, this will encompass repair, calibration and maintenance to both mechanical and electronic equipment.

· Working in a professional manner, ensuring safe and effective use of ATE & EVT equipment.

· To develop and undertake preventative maintenance activities, assisting in the repair and calibration of ATE & EVT equipments.


Must be a creative, driven team player with excellent communication skills and Engineering degree (minimum 2:2). Membership of professional body such as IEE / IMechE a distinct advantage. Must have own transport and full clean UK driving licence. Must be PC literate with good IT skills, and experience of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
To review component parts and/or complete sub assemblies, which have been allocated for structural analysis and report, in order to develop and agree a plan of work which will minimise duplication of work.

To agree and implement a methodology for undertaking and reporting on the structural analysis of component parts and/or complete systems so that a consistent approach, using both classical stress analysis techniques and static and dynamic finite element analysis, can be adopted as far as is practicable.

To present completed reports to nominated senior manager so that each report is ‘signed-off’ to confirm that release to customer has been authorised.

To implement a system for storing and cataloguing completed and ‘signed-off’ reports so that they can be retrieved easily without delay.

To review and revise structural analysis and associated reports in the light of modifications and changes of components/systems as and when necessary so that information, reports and records are up to date.

To communicate with Principal Stress Engineer and other team members in order to update on work in progress.

To attend meetings as required in order to provide appropriate liaison/communication with other interested parties/specialist departments of the Company such that loss of productivity through poor communication is minimised.

Systems Integration Engineer
