Short Break or maybe a Long Break
I'll be taking a break from posting any new vacancies for a few weeks while I sort a few things out.
I may or may not start posting to this blog again, I am not sure yet. My own job hunting has come to and end, but I won't be starting with a new company for a while just yet. (A bit cryptic I know, maybe I will post more on my main blog in a few weeks, but maybe its just too personal and I'm not ready to tell all).
If you are looking for an engineering job in the UK, and you want a great personal service from a real honest and genuine person, then you will not do any wrong in giving Roger Jones a call/email. He is the most genuine person you will never meet (unless you happen to be in the Henley-on-Thames area). His email is: roger@rj-recruit.co.uk. I would almost guarantee that if he comes to you with a few prospective vacancies, you will end up choosing one of them. (Both him and his wife Jenny run the company together and he has a heck of a lot of respect in the industry and not just from those whom he has placed in to new positions. If he recommends a position to you, it will suit your skills, CV/Resume, salary and pretty much all of your requirements. He does his homework very thoroughly.
There are quite a few links to some pretty good agencies on this site, but if you are a good engineer who really knows your 'stuff', it won't do you any harm to drop Roger/Jenny an email.
