My client is a leader in the development of analytical instrumentation.
They currently have vacancies for software engineers with-
a degree in software engineering or a closely related subject and have an affinity for scientific applications, ideally having studied one or more science subjects to A level.
You will have a minimum of 2 years real world experience developing software for the Windows environment using Visual C++ and MFC and will be confident and productive in their use. Experience of any of the following is also desirable Multi-threading, TCP-IP, SQL, OLE DB, DAO, Visual SourceSafe, Visual Basic, Crystal Reports.

You will have a disciplined approach to software development and be familiar with all aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements capture, design, configuration management, defect tracking and testing.
