Working with one of the UK largest Prime Contractors Leading The Reliability Maintainability and Testability Team


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overall responsibilities for ensuring RM&T Programme activities meet both schedule and cost baselines
Preparation and control of top-level RM&T Programme Plans, and flow-down of requirements
Preparation and control of the R&M Case and associated Case Reports
Primary interface between Customer/Authority and all DS2 subcontractor RM&T personnel
Chairman of the RM&T Working Group
Control of all subcontractors on RM&T issues (audits, surveillance, plans, issues and risks)
Responsible for ensuring timely and efficient closure of RM&T Programme issues
Presentation of Program RM&T issues and mitigations to Senior Management and Program IPT members
RM&T Contract negotiations with Subcontractors and Authority
Providing technical and administrative guidance to RM&T Engineering, Modeling and DRACAS staff
Cost and Schedule provision for new programmes

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Technical Degree in Electronics or related discipline

experience in senior RM&T positions with major Defence contractors
Excellent communications, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently on own initiative as well as within a 'team' environment
Ability to work under pressure in a complex and rapidly changing environment
Flexible working habits, with the ability to travel both within Europe and North America
-Thorough working knowledge of modern IT working practices and R&M prediction software packages
