Description:
Product & Solutions Development Engineer to develop and test leading edge technology/products and solutions for this pan-European ISP. You must be a graduate with a CCIP or CCNP; have 3+ years designing and deploying high-end network products; and have good knowledge of routing and switching technologies, project management and VoIP and CoS/QoS. A good knowledge of Cisco, Juniper and Lucent products; xDSL, OSPF, IS-IS, L2TP, MPLS, RSVP, RFC2547.bis, Martini and Kompella; and IPSEC is required.
You will be involved in technical product development including developing and testing new products; and researching existing and emerging technologies and researching and testing new hardware solutions. You will provide technical consultancy to pre-sales on bespoke customer solutions; and deliver technical projects and documentation within defined time-scales. The role is responsible for providing technical support to the network operations teams acting within 3rd/4th line escalation; and will act as the subject matter expert for given technologies.
Salary will be c.£45K with attractive benefits.
