Hardware Integration Engineer

Hardware Integration Engineer. Mandatory Skills and Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience of developing hardware drivers Good understanding of hardware and embedded real time operating systems; Strong real time embedded C; Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Main Responsibilities/Duties: Liasing with STB manufacturers to integrate software with the ever-advancing STB technology; Support to manufacturers during integration of their drivers with software; Replicate known defects, investigate causes and help STB manufacturers to resolve them; Ensure that the software code of practice and the software development process are followed; Liaise with project managers to determine defect priorities and fix by dates (The company use Rational ClearQuest as their defect tracking tool).
