My client is a leading player within the European telecommunications market. They are looking for a Telecoms Development Support Engineer to join their successful European team based in Middlesex. You will have experience in liaising with third party suppliers, customer support and development personnel, as well as customers. You will be responsible for providing 3rd line support to cushion design and development activities from bespoke support activities, as well as problem trouble shooting, tracking and management, and voice processing server related issues. You will have 5-7 years software development and technical support experience within the telecommunications or data networking/IT industry, as well as a minimum three years telecoms switching, installation, configuration and testing experience. With a thorough understanding of public and private telephony, you will have the ability to effectively identify problems in a complex, real time environment. A good knowledge of C/C++, visual C++ and C# would be advantageous, but not essential. With an element of international travel, this position would suit a highly self motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual who has the will to succeed.
