Description:
Control Systems Engineer to develop advanced control systems using model-based design tools in a leading technology company. You must have a 2.1/1st from a good electronics university (ideally a MSc or a PhD); 2+ years in model-based control design; and be an advanced user of MatLab, Simulink, DSPACE or similar. Experience in one of advanced predictive control, dynamic systems optimisation, systems identification, or control design for low cost/compact applications is essential.
You will contribute to projects in a technical role, or for small projects providing project management as well as technical lead. The position may require the preparation and presentation of proposals to clients. Specific responsibilities include: algorithm development down to target code level; simulation of final design and critical components; supervision of algorithm coding; and test and verification of algorithms. You will also prepare data for client review.
Salary is negotiable based on background and experience but is likely to in the range £25-40K. In addition there is an attractive range of benefits including relocation assistance.
You must have an existing right to work in the UK to be considered for this position.
