Systems Design Engineer
I am currently looking for an experienced Systems Design Engineer for a leading Consultancy based in the South West. This is a senior technical role within the Marine division of our client, with emphasis on Communications and Networking technologies.
This is a Permanent role based in Bristol or Bath paying around £35-48K (depending upon your skills and experience) + Benefits Package. The roles will be to undertake system design for navel communications and network systems to include functionality and interface definition, comms chain design, system sizing and performance analysis.
Candidates should have at least a degree (or equivalent) with good systems engineering and design background (emphasis on Communications systems and Networking). You will have around 8 years experience preferably within the Marine Sector, with a broad knowledge of Antennae, RF and underwater communications, good knowledge of current RN Communications systems and of future comms and network systems. Applicants must show initiative, have a desire to grow profitable company business and have a positive "can do" attitude.
