Product Manager - Radio Comms

Excellent opportunity to join this market leader in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art Radio and Data Communication systems. You will work within a multi-discipline design group where you will be responsible for a range of exciting new products. The products are high performance specialist Radio systems for UK and overseas governments. Reporting to the Technical Director and have input to the management team on company strategy. You will run a small team of design engineers and provide technical support to other product areas. This will include the opportunity to get involved in system design and problem solving at more detailed levels. Co-ordinate the broader product aspects such as product strategy, marketing, sales, production and in-service support. You will be educated to a minimum of first degree level in Electronics Engineering or similar discipline, 7+ years of practical and relevant experience in the Radio electronics industry, a background in Radio systems/ Radio communications is essential, a proven track record of meeting challenging deadlines and experience of team management and managing the product development cycle. An understanding of DSP technology and PC systems is desirable.
