Description: A leading international defence organisation is looking for a motivated, experienced individual to lead a small team.
The role of the Integration Documentation Team Leader will be as follows:
· Manage the production and amendment of Combat System Integration Test Requirements (ITRs) and ensuring that agreement of the delegated Design Authorities is gained as to the content of the ITRs.
· Manage the production and update of Combat System Integration Test Procedures.
Key Responsibility Areas
· Leading a small team in the production of Integration Test Requirements and Procedures.
· Maintaining the documentation production programme and reporting progress and changes to the team.
· Liaising with other teams within Combat Systems to ensure documentation meets their requirements and their programmes.
· Reviewing integration documentation to ensure quality and consistency.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and develop members of the documentation team.
The Person
· Qualified to HNC (or equivalent) level in Engineering, have excellent written and oral communication skills and be experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
· Knowledge of System Integration and Acceptance process is required
· Knowledge and experience of Naval Combat Systems will be a distinct advantage to enable the successful candidate to gather the relevant information required to produce the integration documentation.
· Some out of hours work may be required.
