Our Client is a leading independent engine control supplier who are currently looking to recruit an Electronics Test Engineer to work within the engineering test team.
Task will include:-

• Develop and implement strategies for the modernisation of the equipment and processes used in Engineering Test.
• Provide support and technical solutions to the development of new test rig control and data acquisition systems.
• Selection of appropriate sensors, signal conditioning and data acquisition systems to meet test requirements.
• Design, installation and commissioning of electronic control and measurement equipment. (Including software)
• Technical support of electronic test equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment meets the latest statutory safety and performance requirements (including DSEAR,ATEX 100a and ATEX 137)
• Training of engineers and technicians in the operation, maintenance and calibration of electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Advise other departments on electronic and instrumentation solutions.

You will ideally hold a degree in engineering or equivalent, with a background in electronics hardware and software engineering.

You must be highly motivated, hold strong communication skills, be enthusiastic and committed with the ability to exercise coaching skills. In return we offer an attractive salary and bonus package.
