The successful individual will be responsible for managing the complete product life cycle for AC Drives.

Working Partners/Contacts

This is a senior position within the Design and Development department.

Tasks

·Managing the complete project on a day to day basis. ·Defining the technical concept and generating product specifications ·Project planning, reporting and tracking; including setting and management of budgets ·Adopting Project Processes and Managing Key Stage Reviews ·Meeting milestones; product cost; technical performance; quality and project budget targets.

Education

·Degree in Electronics Engineering or associated subject

Knowledge/Languages

·Good technical knowledge ideally with a drives background or in a similar power electronics related field. An appreciation of Electronics, Mechanical Construction and Software ·Knowledge of German would be useful.

Experience

·Minimum of 2 years experience in project management in a design environment ·Managing a product through the complete life cycle from Marketing Specification through to End of Product Life including all aspects of design and manufacturing ·development processes. ·Managing/designing products for high volume manufacture and test ·Capable of working to aggressive cost targets and time scales ·Experience of 230V/400V AC Drives products and associated Field Communications Systems e.g. Profibus, CAN, ASi and Devicenet would be advantageous.
