The Role
To carry out manufacture of metal components working from engineering drawings and sketches, using hand, conventional, and CNC machine tools to tool making tolerance standards.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the manufacture of metal components to company quality standards from engineering drawings and sketches, using above referenced equipment. Able to perform measurement and self-inspection of mechanical piece parts and assemblies using proprietary measuring equipment.
Skills required
BTEC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledgeable in cutting tool types, materials and applications, with the ability to produce CNC programs for milling and turning machines.
Must be prepared to work shifts.
