PLC Software Engineer, Limerick.
We are a world class health care manufacturing company, with a state of the art facility in Limerick City. We are part of a globally successful company, with more than 190 operating companies in 51 countries around the world, selling products in more than 175 countries.
We are currently recruiting an experienced PLC Software Engineer.
Role: Co-ordinating the design and updating of software programs used in our client's manufacturing and facilities process, troubleshooting software problems and generating related documentation, including validations where appropriate. Supporting Production to resolve issues and improve the quality, safety or output of the linesSkills/Experience required: Suitable Engineering qualification with at least 3 years post-graduate experience in an automated manufacturing environment. 3 years experience programming in PLC languages such as: APT, PCS7, or equivalent IEC61131 compliant language. 3 years experience programming in InTouch or equivalent HMI package. Ideally suitable candidates should come from a similar Health care environment, so familiarity with GAMP Standards, FDA requirements or Pilz ESD Systems would be an advantage. You will be self motivated, professional and organized and ready for a new challenge! (Only EC candidates who are already based in Ireland should apply for this job).
