Description:


A global leader in telecommunications has a number of opportunities
available for experienced Integration and Verification Engineers in their 3G
/ UMTS division.

This is a fantastic opportunity with a global company, servicing global
customers.

Experience of the following required:

Integration and verification of real-time/telecom systems in an open system
architecture.
Strong ATM knowledge.
Telecommunications particularly GSM and UMTS Standards.
3GPP WCMDA air-interface and signalling protocols.
Trouble shooting and fault tracing techniques.
Ability to configure IP networks.
Technical Customer Support.
Responsibilities

Integration and verification of UMTS network features.
Configuration and handling of UMTS network elements in a real UMTS network.
Trouble shooting/analysing faults found in Customer UMTS Live Networks.
Interoperability Verification of the latest UMTS and GPRS/EDGE mobile
terminals prior to commercial release.
On site support to UMTS Customers to support product releases and trouble
shooting complex faults.
