Sr. Test Engineer

Test Engineer with good telecommunications background is required for new product and feature development.

The role will include the following functions.

1. Test and verification of system level parameters, these will include KPI�s for communication systems, air interface knowledge and backhaul testing.

2. Evaluation of results and in-depth understanding of communication systems to ensure detailed debug and integration testing information is presented.

3. Define and execute new test procedures aimed at new and ground breaking system functionality.

4. Evaluation of current test practices and suggestions to improvements.

5. Ability to debug a system and be willing to work with customers during trial testing.



Skills required

1. HND or degree in electronic engineering

2. 3-5 years experience of integrating and testing WCDMA systems.

3. 10 years of integration and test experience

4. Working knowledge of 3GPP

5. The candidate should be able to work under pressure and short timescales

6. The candidate should be able to apply previous experience in the current role, for both evaluation and suggestion to improve the test environment. The candidate should also be able to improvise on test environments and interpret specifications
