Software Test Engineer - BERKSHIRE
Person Specification
A software test engineer with strong J2EE experience. Technical skills will include:
- 2+ years experience in all aspects of software testing e.g. writing test plans, test cases, and regression, functional, integration, performance testing, preferably covering a range of languages and technologies- 2+ years writing and implementing unit tests in a database-backed J2EE environment- Practical experience deploying J2EE applications into BEA WebLogic and IBM WebSphere. Specific knowledge of JBoss and Oracle 9iAS advantageous- Practical experience with Mercury Interactive automated test tools advantageous (in particular QuickTest Pro, Test Director).
This person will also:- be a strong team player - be self-motivated, and keen to take on responsibility- have wide experience in the full software testing lifecycle- have strong spoken and written communication skills- maintain a good, current knowledge and understanding of technologies that are in and around the Java �enterprise software� field, and software testing best practice

This person will work closely with the Chief Architect and Test Manager to design and lead the implementation of functional tests and critical unit tests for components in the Company�s flagship product.
