Description:


A world-leading provider of network solutions requires the services of an
experienced software engineer.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a professional services division of
a telecommunications software development company, with experience in
billing and mediation.

Skills Required:

Visual Basic or C.
Scripting language such as Shell, Tcl, DCL.
Software development in a UNIX environment.
Understanding of telecommunications.
Demonstrable analysis abilities.

Responsibilities:
Interface with Sales team & Customers for new project requirements.
Create and review Functional Specifications.
Design and implement a complex module with minimal supervision or review.
Review Design Specifications and code of junior engineers.
Create and review Test plans and Testing of large modules and systems.
Install and deliver on customer sites and deal with customer issues.
Mentor and review junior engineers.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and a minimum 4 to 6-years
industry experience.
